If you’ve had experience with other recruiting firms, you may know it can be difficult for some recruiters to be on the same page as you. Perhaps a miscommunication during the initial meeting may have them confused on the scope of the project, or the position itself is not fully understood by the recruiter. On top of that, they may not understand how to sell your organization’s unique value proposition to candidates. These gaps in knowledge can severely hurt a search as these recruiters do not understand who or what they are recruiting for.
Reflexion does things differently. Unlike most firms, we take as much time as is needed to fully understand what the role is and how it fits within your organization. This research allows us to position ourselves as experts in your field, but also drives candidate interest as we can accurately represent what makes your organization unique, turning the job offer into a terrific opportunity for top talent. Additionally, a clear understanding of the search guarantees buy-in from all key stakeholders, eliminating confusion during the hiring process.
We also take the time to develop job specification documents. These outline exactly what the role is and what is encompasses: what the candidate will do, how they will do it, what the team and culture dynamics around the position look like, and what backgrounds, hard and soft skills are critical to the role. Presenting these key points to the candidate allows them to understand completely what is asked of them in the role. This can be developed as an in-house process for organization-wide effectiveness.
Developing this document is not just a strategy to inform and drive candidate interest, though. It also is a way for us to sell exactly what makes your organization unique and show the candidate how that position within your company would be a career upgrade. Knowing the history, culture, and values of your organization can allow us to not only find candidates whose resume fits the bill, but also would be a fantastic culture and moral fit for your team. Our Position and Company Specification allows us to read between the lines of the search, hone our process, and zero in on the best possible candidate for the search.
We believe that just a job description is not enough to accurately represent your organization and the position within it. Our process allows us to truly understand what makes this opportunity unique and allows us to effectively sell it to the candidates of best fit. The recruiting process we follow and customize depending on your organization’s needs sets us apart from our peers and allow us to put our best foot forward as we represent your company during the recruiting process.
